“When people show you who they are, believe them the first time” – Oprah Winfrey

Your intuition never lies.

I’ll say it again, just like your grandma would tell you.

Your intuition never lies.

I believe that God, in His own way and in His own time, speaks to all of us. That little voice inside of you, the gentle whisper you feel that lovingly guides you, your intuition…that’s something to be respected and abided by. It will steer you where you should go.

But what about discerning intuition from fear? What if the doubt you’re feeling is coming from the fear of something new rather than your intuition?

People confuse the two so often, especially with jobs and relationships. We know something or someone is not good for us, that perhaps they don’t have our best intentions at heart, yet we continue because the fear of something different blinds us from following our intuition. I think for many of us, that is a big mistake.

I spoke with a client recently about an impending job opportunity and was struggling with the decision. She felt in her gut it was not right but was afraid to miss out on the opportunity. It took me listening to her say these words and reciting it back to her before she was able to acknowledge that she was not truly listening to her intuition.

Your intuition never lies. If you’re doubting something, then there’s a reason. Listen to your intuition – what God may be trying to tell you – and identify it, acknowledge it and don’t be afraid to change course.

Be Brilliant!
