As an entrepreneur, there are challenges that you deal with every day. Most likely, you are continually thinking about how to stand out in an ever-growing saturated marketplace. If you’re wondering how you can do things differently so people aren’t copying you all the time, then you’re in the right place. Amanda Tress, the founder and CEO of the FASTer Way to Fat Loss, reveals how to scale and grow your business to make a more significant difference in the world. Tune in as Amanda gives advice for taking your business to the next level.
For inspiration from Amanda, Listen to the podcast here:
What is FASTer Way to Fat Loss?
The FASTer Way to Fat Loss is a 6-week intermittent fasting and carb cycling program and is arguably the best fat loss program on the market. It took Amanda 10 years to crack the code and finally find the right food cycle for her clients who were experiencing a plateau. And the results have been incredible.
This is not a diet, it truly is a lifestyle, one that I’ve implemented into my own routine. You can learn more about it at here. I’m a huge fan of her program and while I could spend hours talking with Amanda about intermittent fasting alone, how she created this business is what we’re digging into today.
The Cost of Success
The fitness industry is extremely competitive and Amanda did something incredibly difficult – she carved out a niche. Because her methods weren’t common law like they are today, she got some backlash for it.
In fact, she had horrendous criticism. “Think of the worst things someone could say about you and multiply it times 10.”
It was truly a woman’s worst nightmare. When I asked her how she was able to keep going, she said she just kept coming back to this phrase:
“I had a purpose before anyone had an opinion.”
“I put my head down and continued to say, look at the science and witness the success of my clients.”
A lot of people would have given up at this point. But Amanda knew she had a greater purpose.
One of the things that accelerated Amanda’s brand so quickly was abandoning the hot selfie approach (something she can easily do). Instead, she showcased her client’s results.
She shifted her marketing efforts and made the client the celebrity, which is one of the reasons so many people were excited to jump on board. 60K people have joined this program in just three years!
But this is no surprise to anyone who knows her. Amanda’s purpose extends beyond fat loss. She wanted to equip and empower other women to earn a significant income so they can re-circulate their own wealth into their family, church, and community.
Communities change when women hold the wealth. To empower female entrepreneurs to make a significant income is one of the most important ways, if not the most important way, to solve problems in the world. This passion led Amanda to do two things as part of her business model.
- Create an accredited coaching certification. This offers women the chance to scale their own business with The FASTer Way to Fat Loss brand.
- A generous commission – Amanda works with micro influencers who believe in and have personally invested in her program.
People aren’t just working for or with Amanda, they’re creating wealth with the tools she’s giving them. Everyone wins!
For anyone wanting to take their business to that next level, Amanda has this piece of advice for you:
“You have to find the passion, the why, the unique purpose that drives you. Without clarity around that vision and mission, you will fail. You’ll burn out, you’ll come up against challenges, or someone will criticize you.”
Amanda is living out her purpose, which is how she’s been able to move forward after experiencing challenges that would leave most entrepreneurs as a puddle on the floor. She challenges every person out there to ask themselves something she asks herself often:
What is God’s expectation of you this year?
Instead of thinking in terms of what the challenges or the downsides are, ask yourself this and watch it all come into focus.
