It’s the time of year when business owners and leaders start planning for the next year. And if you’ve listened to any self-help guru or professional development expert, you’ve heard them say things like “find your passion and the money will flow” or perhaps less over-the-top advice like “do what you love and you’ll never work a day.”

The problem for many of us is that we don’t know what our passion is! This is the challenge our young people face, but it doesn’t necessarily get better with age, unless you take action. That’s one of the most frequent pieces of advice I give: stop thinking and start doing.
