2012 is off to a great start! I feel invigorated by my clients, friends and family that are making amazing strides in their lives. And what do these successful people have in common? A positive support system, or as I like to call it, a Dream Team!
We touched on this in last week’s newsletter as one of the important components of realizing your dreams. A Dream Team is a group of people with similar values, beliefs and goals that work together to achieve and accomplish their goals. Pursuing your dreams can often feel isolating, especially when people close to you are not fully understanding or supportive of your passion to pursue your dream. Making connections with other like-minded individuals that share your positive attitude can give you the boost you need to succeed, while being accountable to and learning from one another.
A Dream Team is important no matter where you are in your life. If you’re just beginning to test the waters of pursuing your dream or are already on your way to success, building your own Dream Team will help you to strategize, share ideas and ultimately fulfill your goals, as a group. The power of your peers is a serious matter, so creating your own positive and powerful support system should be of an utmost priority in 2012.
Not only have I experienced the powerful affects of my own Dream Team, but I’ve been a mentor to others on their teams. I know the important role a Dream Team plays in the success of my clients and peers. So keep your eyes open for a special program I will launch soon that will open the door of opportunity for a select group of folks from our Inspired Living community. 2012 just got a little bit more exciting!
