This week here in the USA, we are celebrating Independence Day with parades, fireworks, cookouts, and friends. It’s a day when, despite our country’s many flaws and challenges, we take a moment to recognize that it’s still a wonderful place to live.
Every time I listen to the stories of those who emigrate here from other parts of the world, I’m reminded again that we enjoy freedoms and opportunities that either don’t exist elsewhere or are much more difficult to attain. This interview with Gilles Marini was one such moment.
Gilles is easy on the eyes, for sure. And then you hear his story of making it here in the USA despite arriving empty-handed. It’s inspiring and oh so fitting on this day of celebration here.
Enjoy this little piece of Inspired History!
