I hope your new year is off to a great start! I don’t know about you but I’m already feeling like this year is full of possibility. Its an opportunity to set new goals, intentions, and visions for our lives. I’m not a big fan of looking at my past unless I can learn something that can shape my future. . . what goals did you set last year that you didn’t achieve and why? Without judgement, what can you do differently this year to step into your greatest and highest good.
In this video I am sharing with you the things that I have done that have allowed me to manifest the life and business that I have today. I know they will support you in creating new goals and intentions this year.
- Make it visual. Your imagination creates your destination. Your subconscious thinks in pictures. The more visual you can make your goals and dreams the easier it is for your mind to understand it. Create a vision board or vision journal. I have had clients that look back on their vision boards or journals years later dumbfounded that they have created what they put down.
- Act as-if. Be clear with your language. Avoid saying things like “I hope” or “I wish”. Get very clear with what it is you want to create. Use words as if it is happening, such as I am or I have. Get specific and put it on your calendar. Set goals that stretch you but are attainable. Read them out loud daily to create that mental imprint.
- Celebrate your achievements! Don’t forget to reward yourself! It’s the small accomplishments that lead to the big ones. Find a group or community to share your success with.
- Make it a movie. Almost every person who has reached a certain level of success will tell you visualization was a big part of it. Take a moment to picture what it will look and feel like once you have achieved your goal. The more vivid you can make the experience the more you are training your mind to make it happen.
- Write your own press release. Imagine turning on the news only to find a reporter sharing your remarkable success story. What would she say? In this fun exercise take a moment to write your own press release, don’t forget to include the why, what, where, and how.
I am so excited for whats in store for you this year! The clearer you get with what you want, the easier it is to achieve it.
Please post 1 to 3 of your goals below so we can all support each other and hold each other accountable. When you share your goals, you will inspire others to set and share theirs as well. I can’t wait to read what your goals are and how we can support you in the upcoming year.
When you’re inspired, you inspire others!

Thank you Keri Murphy – great reminders of how to turn our dreams into realities. I’ve always created Vision or Dream Boards and chose to do a Dream Journal this year that I can continue to build as the year progresses with pictures, quotes, cards etc. My 2016 goals range from practical improvements to my lifestyle that include replacing sugar and caffiene with more greens and tea to personal and professional goals from slowing down and simplifying my life to launching my Online Vocal Trainings by December 2016! Thanks so much for your wisdom and coaching!
Thanks for your constant inspiration, Keri! I have a couple of goals on the back of my mind, so I guess now that I’m making them public I need to actively work towards them. In the present tense I would say: I am exercising more so I am healthier and stronger each day, I am searching for a job in which I will feel respected as a professional, I’m planning my trip to Spain to visit my daughter while she’s going to school there. I plan to work on each of them each day. I think these are my goals for now. So, thanks again!
Lovvve every tip Keri!! Thanks so much for setting us up for SUCCESS in accomplishing our goals. My number one 2016 goal is to WRITE A BOOK!! Please stay tuned!!
<3 your advice Keri! As I look back on my life I see that every job I've ever had I'd fantisized about as a child. I do believe "if you dream it you will live it". My goal this year is to become very clear on which direction to take my business. I am an actress and have written an anti-bullying show/assembly for kids K-5th grades. I'm not sure practically speaking if it's better to have something on the internet as apposed to live shows or continue to touch one school at a time, and is there money to be had doing this.
Hi,
So every new year I invite friends over to make their vision/dream boards. I start the night off with ice breakers, and then we go over concepts from books such as the 10 X rule, the secret, etc. I remind my friends that they need to keep their boards where they can see them every day. I also remind them they should visualize and Meditate on them a few minutes at least a day. The more specific they are, the higher probability that their dreams are manifested. They should be fine-tuning them every once in a while. Every night they should be grateful and contribute to conscious giving because hat is the recipe for success
