I saw this short clip of an interview Ashton Kutcher had with Ellen the other day, and I thought what a wonderful message it was for him to be spreading. What a great example he has set for so many of us, myself included. We live in world where so many young people these days feel that their self worth is based on the number of followers they have on any number of social media networks. They aspire to be “rich and famous” when they grow up, rather than create a goal that is above and beyond being famous, just because.

When I use the term “celebrity”, it’s about influence and doing good in the world, just like Ashton is doing! While many people are well recognized and admired for their talents and unique abilities, others may just have a name to warrant their social standing. But what really matters most is what you choose to do with your following. The amount of effort you put into making the world a better place is what makes you truly happy!
