New Year’s resolutions: how many of you even remember what yours was last year? I am guilty of this too– we make them with the best of intentions, but somewhere along the way we miss the follow through. What if in 2014, we agree to not just make an ordinary resolution. I am not saying we should abandon our short and long-term goals, after all, these drive our success.
But what if, instead of tangible goals…
Acquiring more money, things, titles.
Or promising to be…
kinder, wiser, bolder.
Instead, we make a REAL change.
Think about reaching a goal.
Is it the actual accomplishment you remember or the feeling you got after reaching it?
In 2014, I want you to step outside of the everyday rut and create a new purpose and energy around your life and work. In this video, I will show you how to shift your mindset to “being” instead of “getting”.

“Life is a journey, not a destination.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson via @ Kerimurphy
I want you to come at 2014 in an entirely new way. So grab a pen and paper, (and put down your phone) and start your self-reflection.
Instead of asking, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”
Ask, “Who do I want to be? How do I want to feel when I wake up? What kind of person do I want to strive to become?”
Today’s video will help you to shift your focus from what you can get to who you can become. When you become who you are truly meant to be, you multiply the potential paths you can take to get the end “destination”.
Please share with us your comments and your new mindset with the community; we can be even better together in 2014.
Thank you for reading, sharing and joining in the conversation on the Inspired Living Community!
Happy New Year,
PS. So are you ready to make a REAL change? Our goal in 2014 is to help you do so! Which is why we have decided to partner with other women and men who are helping to inspire others and will periodically introduce you throughout the year!
This months introductions are ….

My intentions are to be more giving and less selfish for the new year, and over all becoming just a little bit healthier, buy making better choices. Not a resolution, but being mindful of my choices.
I loooooove your “being” video! I am so incredibly proud of you for how far you’ve come with your brand and message over the years I’ve known you. Absolutely love youI loooooove your “being” video!
