The Personal Story
I was the little girl who knew she was meant to be on camera—long before I ever had the confidence to claim it.
Back then, the “mold” for women on screen looked like supermodels or A-list actresses… and I didn’t fit it. So I waited. I shrank. I kept hoping someone would discover me, validate me, choose me.
But life had other plans. And when I had no other option but to pursue the dream that never left me, I stopped waiting for permission—and started creating my own stage.
After losing a business and filing for bankruptcy, I was faced with a choice: give up, or start again. That wake-up call pushed me to finally chase the dream that had never left me. At first, I thought it meant becoming a TV host or chasing celebrity. But what I ultimately realized was—I didn’t need to audition for my own show or pursue fleeting fame. I could create something far more meaningful—and help others do the same. I could ignite their IT Factor in both business and life.
That clarity led me to launch Inspired Living. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve lived and loved—27 years as an entrepreneur, 30+ years on-camera, owning a talent agency, running an interior design business, and ultimately discovering what lights me up most: seeing the brilliance in others and helping them bring it fully to life.
I grew up in Portland, Oregon—sandwiched between two sisters, always the one dreaming big and feeling called to more. Surrounded by pine trees, I secretly dreamed of palm trees. So it’s no mistake that today I call Southern California home, living the life I prayed for with my two greatest gifts, Landon and Lauren—both born in my 40s, a reminder it’s never too late—and the love of my life, Michael.
And while the road here wasn’t always easy, I now stand fully in who I am. Unapologetic. On purpose. And unshakably committed to helping others do the same.
I’ve been told “no” more times than I can count. Told to lose weight. Told I wasn’t brown enough or light enough. And I’m here to tell you—none of that matters. What matters is that you believe in your brilliance, and you stop waiting to be chosen.
