Kim, Army wife and mother of 5, shares how she lets her light shine!

Keri! I’m a Facebook fan and I get your newsletters and I want to thank you for sharing your messages. We can’t all afford personal coaching so I appreciate that you take the time to put out for us fans what you do. You may never know that more often than not a certain message in your newsletter is EXACTLY what I needed to read that day.

“As an Army wife and mother of 5 some days are draining. My life involves moving frequently, starting over, making new friends all while being the best mother and wife I can be. Leaving Oregon and my family was one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced. But I did it! I’ve come to realize with my experiences that it is the anticipation of change, of the unknown that is the worst part but once its happening and done, I look at each new move as a new adventure. I always try to embrace the positive, especially for my kids. My oldest son just left home last month and joined the Marine Corps so I have a lot of changes happening in my life all at once. I’m currently working on two different at home businesses and sometimes it’s hard to stay motivated, it’s just so much to juggle.

“I agree that we all have that inner strength, the tools or resources inside ourselves but don’t always realize it and it’s awesome to be able to hear it out loud and put it into context. To hear all that you do, how hard you work and all the balls you are juggling, it makes me think I can accomplish what I want too!

“You said something profound that struck a chord with me, the more light we put out and the more positivity we share the more people want to shut it down “put a blanket over it and put us in the closet.” I think is exactly how you put it. Isn’t that the truth! It can be discouraging a times but it made me think of that song “This little light of mine, I’m gonna’ let it shine!” So now I will have that tune stuck in my head and think of those words whenever I feel discouraged by the negative people I come across.”

Fitness expert Hope shares how an ugly divorce was her springboard to a better life!

“My entire story is ridiculously long but I wanted to share at least a snippet. I am a work in progress, of course, but I am woman TRANSFORMED!

“After 11 years of a white picket fence, homeschool mom life my world fell apart. I will not go into the how or whys, as I will not speak ill of my ex husband. I literally went from an upper middle class life to an unemployed single mom to 3 children. I found a low paying job within 3 weeks and was just happy to have health benefits for my children.

“The next few years found me, a survivor at my core, fighting my way back in all areas.

*insert YEARS of Jerry Springer Court, family, money battles* Fast forward to today. I am something more than I ever realized, not just a mom, not just an amazing incredible friend, sister, girlfriend, daughter…I am success at inspiring others.

“I became an Independent Fitness Coach for Beachbody 2 1/2 years ago. I signed up to help people, because I had received help, support and motivation. It has become something SO much MORE! I am now a small business owner. I am no longer struggling with money. I am helping people lose weight, feel good about themselves AND for some earn their financial freedom as well. Even MORE? This entire journey has led me to my own journey of self development that I am sharing with as many as I can.

“I am SHINING every day! I am confident. I am happy. I am LIVING my life with a purpose and without a net! Thanks for allowing me to share.”

Craig began his own translation company, after learning Spanish from scratch!

“In 2002 I was 33 and the multinational I worked for wanted me to move to Birmingham from London. I was well paid, in a long-term relationship, but desperately unhappy. Nothing seemed to make sense. I was drifting. I decided to train my replacement and take the payoff.

“In 2003 I went to Barcelona, Spain for 3 months to learn Spanish from scratch, then

Newcastle, England for a year doing low-paid English teaching. The plan? Get back to Barcelona and start my own business.

“Now I’m 41 years old, married to a Spanish woman with two wonderful boys aged 6 months and 2 years. I am self-employed and collaborate with important companies in Spain translating many kinds of documents, dubbing, subtitles, publicity, marketing, IT, technical, manuals, communications, web pages, blogs, social networks, Spanish to English and visa-versa.

“I also do simultaneous translation and public relations for events, meetings, conventions etc with significant experience with different cultures from around the world (European, Asian, African, Arab, Chinese, Japanese, American.)

“I give English training for business and general use to the top management of these companies, combining it with fitness training in the gym too. I base my services on quality and personal attention. I do not use software to translate and work personally with clients on translations. I have been developing my own teaching method for the last 6 years for the Spanish/Catalan speaking client.

“I believe that to truly know a language you need to be a master of its use and register from its most colloquial level right up to its most cultured and educated level. Bad communication is the beginning of the end in any relationship and I am committed to the use of good communication in English in an increasingly international and cosmopolitan Spain as well as facilitating communication in English between people of every other creed and culture.

“I would also like to extend my work with clients in the gym and incorporate life coaching. At the age of 33 I made a difficult decision to change and here I am. It was hard work but worth it and now I’m desperate to continue improving and reach my goals. I’ve been following you on TV and internet for a while and I wanted to thank you Keri, and also my wife Raquel and whole family for the inspiration and motivation to live life and succeed.
