Lessons I have learned so far…

I am in beautiful Portland, Oregon this weekend ringing in my BIG 4-0 and celebrating the new life that is going to be joining us soon with my incredible friends and family. With every birthday I try to look back over the year for what I am most grateful for and the lessons I have learned. Well for this one, I am looking over the past decade at the most valuable lessons and although there are many of them, here are the ones that take the cake. 🙂

  1. Failure is a very useful pit-stop on the road to success.
  2. The more you believe in yourself the more people will believe in you.
  3. Your thoughts create every outcome.
  4. It’s OK if not everyone likes you.
  5. The greatest risk comes from NOT doing what you feel most called to do.
  6. It is SO important to invest in yourself.
  7. You are who you surround yourself with.
  8. Right when you think you’ve reached a dead-end, God opens a new glorious door!
  9. Listen to your intuition, not your fears.
  10. If you take care of your body, your body will take care of you.
  11. LOVE is the most beautiful and important thing!
  12. Mom is (almost) always right. 🙂

It has been an incredible 40 years so far and I am so excited for this new chapter and all it is going to bring. No doubt there will be many more lessons, which I am ready to learn and experiences that will continue to shape the woman I am.

I hope you will continue to walk this journey with me, as we stay committed to living our greatest purpose. I am so thankful for you and this awesome Inspired Living community. I can’t begin to tell you how much joy I receive from the work I am able to do and the people I am able to serve.

What’s one lesson you would add to the list? There is so much we can do together…Dream it. Live it. BE it!!
